What do habits have to do with my business?
Habits are born through the culture of repetition which deepens the impression. Whether it is good or bad, developing a single habit takes a considerable amount of time. Unlearning habits on the other had also takes time – some people may argue that it takes an even longer time to unlearn habits.
Truthfully, I believe that we are all creatures of habit as we have our own meticulous and very specific way of doing certain things. People generally do not even realize that they have habits and their ignorance of them does not nullify their existence.
While some of the habits mentioned in these articles might be of value, they might not be valuable or useful to you in particular. In the same way that we have different health and diet plans that are uniquely tailored for us, we should develop habits that will be beneficial to you and your business in its current phase. Forget about what millionaires do in the morning as they are at a different level compared to you. While they may not reply to his or her emails until noon, can you? You need to be very realistic with yourself.
Developing habits on a needs basis makes much more sense. While an athlete might only need to hit the gym twice a day, you might not need to as going four times a week might work perfectly for you. Keeping in mind that habits take time to cultivate, take heed as to what habits you are grooming because in the long run they might make the difference between your business being the success that you want it to be – or not.
